A new poll by The Wall Street Journal and NORC reveals that only 36 percent of U.S. voters believe the “American dream” is attainable, a stark contrast to a previous survey where 68 percent agreed with the notion of hard work leading to success.
The poll also found that roughly two-thirds of voters perceive the economy as poor, with concerns about inflation outpacing wages and rising prices.
The “American dream” appeared more unattainable to women and younger respondents, and only 35 percent felt the economy was in good condition. (Trending: Biden’s Mental Decline Getting Even Worse)
