‘They Can Actually Sang Birthday to Me!’: Biden Flubs On 81st Birthday

via ABC News

Joe Biden celebrated his 81st birthday by hosting the 76th National Thanksgiving turkey pardon ceremony, where he pardoned turkeys named ‘Liberty’ and ‘Bell’.

Despite being nearly 30 minutes late, he mentioned the birds’ newfound appreciation for freedom and humorously commented on his own age.

“These birds have a new appreciation of the word, ‘let freedom ring,’” Biden said. (Trending: Biden Baffles Thanksgiving Guests With Bizarre Joke)

“I just want you to know it’s difficult turning 60.”

“They can actually sang birthday me!” Biden added.

After a short 20-minute appearance, Biden left, making it his only public appearance for the day.
