Melania Trump Breaks Her Silence On Mother’s Passing

Former first lady Melania Trump announced the passing of her mother, Amalija Knavs, and described her as strong and entirely devoted to her family.

“It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved mother, Amalija,” Melania wrote online.

“Amalija Knavs was a strong woman who always carried herself with grace, warmth, and dignity,” Melania wrote. (Trending: Joe Biden Sets New Presidential Record)

“She was entirely devoted to her husband, daughters, grandson, and son-in-law.”

“We will miss her beyond measure and continue to honor and love her legacy,” she added.

Former President Donald Trump had mentioned that Knavs was “very ill” during a New Year’s Eve celebration, and Melania was absent from the family’s Christmas celebrations to take care of her ailing mother.
