Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips criticized claims that President Joe Biden could defeat former President Donald Trump, calling it “delusional” due to Biden’s declining poll numbers.
Phillips, a member of House Democratic Leadership, expressed doubts about Biden’s ability to win the 2024 election, citing concerns about his age and health.
Additionally, Biden faces challenges from more liberal third-party candidates, including environmental advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and professor Cornel West. (Trending: Biden’s Mental Decline Getting Even Worse)

“As a member of House Democratic Leadership, I supported and promoted the Biden agenda,” wrote Phillips.
“I campaigned for him, voted for him, and respect him,” he continued.
“But how can anyone read this and conclude he’s positioned to defeat Donald Trump?”, asked the Democrat.
“It’s delusional,” lamented Phillips.
