Hilton, a vocal advocate for the bill, shared her own experience of being a victim of abuse as a teenager, emphasizing the importance of protecting children who lack support and a voice.
“Very late at night, this would be around like three or four in the morning, they would take myself and other girls into this room and they would perform medical exams,” Hilton recalled of her abuse.
