Stefanie Lambert, an attorney facing charges related to accessing voting machines following the 2020 election, was arrested after a hearing in an unrelated case.

She is accused of unlawfully accessing voting machines in Michigan while representing Patrick Byrne, a supporter of election fraud theories, in a defamation lawsuit against Dominion Voting Systems.

Lambert had obtained Dominion emails in that case.

At a hearing over potentially sanctioning her for disclosing private Dominion emails, U.S. Marshals detained Lambert based on an outstanding arrest warrant from Michigan related to the voting machine access charges.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court ruled that Peter Navarro, a former Trump adviser convicted of contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with the January 6 committee, must begin serving his four-month prison sentence while continuing to appeal his case.
