Vice President Kamala Harris emphasized her readiness to serve when asked about voters’ concerns regarding President Joe Biden’s age during an interview aboard Air Force Two.

This occurred before special counsel Robert Hur’s report on the Biden classified documents investigation, which cited Biden’s memory as a factor in the decision not to pursue criminal charges.

“I am ready to serve. There’s no question about that,” Harris said.

Following the report’s release, Biden faced further scrutiny about his age and mental acuity, with polling indicating that a majority of Americans have concerns about his physical and mental health for a second term in office.

“Mr. President, for months, when you were asked about your age, you would respond with the words, ‘Watch me.’ Many American people have been watching, and they have expressed concerns about your age,” one reporter said.

“That is your judgment! That is your judgment,” Biden said. “That is not the judgment of the press.”

“They express concerns about your mental acuity. They say that you are too old. Mr. President, in December, you told me there are many other Democrats who could defeat Donald Trump, so why does it have to be you now?” the reporter pressed.

“Because I’m the most qualified person in this country to be President of the United States and finish the job I started,” Biden said.

Such concerns have been highlighted in various polls, including one from NBC News and a separate Harvard-Harris poll.
