Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel is facing frustrations and criticism within the party due to financial and organizing setbacks.
Former President Donald Trump hinted at potential changes in leadership, marking a shift from his previous praise for McDaniel.
Her tenure has seen downturns, including electoral losses and struggles in the 2022 midterms.

“How’s Ronna McDaniel doing?” Maria Bartiromo asked.
“I think she did great when she ran Michigan for me. I think she did OK, initially in the RNC,” Trump said.
“I would say right now there’ll probably be some changes made,” he said.
The 2024 cycle is also posing challenges, with Trump ignoring her pleas for participation.
Some blame her for the party’s difficulties, and internal Republican politics at the national and state levels seem to be in disarray.
