The extent of Hunter’s influence in the White House is under scrutiny as he faces federal tax charges and a congressional investigation.
Notable figures with ties to Hunter include members of Biden’s Cabinet, a former Cabinet member, a top aide to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a national security adviser, four top White House aides, the communications director for first lady Jill Biden, and multiple former staffers.

Hunter pleaded not guilty to nine tax crimes and faced a House Oversight Committee meeting regarding a subpoena in the impeachment inquiry into his father, President Biden.
