CNN’s Brianna Keilar fact-checked Donald Trump’s false claims made after his civil fraud trial, debunking his allegations about President Joe Biden’s involvement and New York Attorney General Letitia James.

She also refuted Trump’s claims of “no evidence of fraud” and highlighted one truth in his statements about the 40 Wall Street building.

Keilar and co-host Boris Sanchez discussed the property’s beauty and history, noting that it was acquired by Trump in 1995 and his insensitivity following the 9/11 attacks when he falsely claimed it was the tallest building in New York City. Keilar said, “We just have to fact-check a lot and brace yourself because this is going to take a moment there.”

“Listen, the overarching message that he was really putting out there was he was saying that this is a [President] Joe Biden indictment. And it’s not. This is a civil fraud trial in New York. Joe Biden did not set this up,” she continued.

“There is something he did say that is true, which is that he said the 40 Wall Street building is beautiful. And that’s actually true. It’s on the National Historic Register,” explained Keiler.

“It’s gorgeous,” added Keilar.

“You probably actually have seen it in the skyline. It’s a beautiful building, built in 1930 before Donald Trump was ever born, though it does currently bear his name,” she concluded.
