Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie faced off with “The View” hosts over his 2024 GOP primary candidacy and his decision not to vote for President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump.

Christie’s low polling numbers have led to his exclusion from the upcoming GOP primary debate.

“If it’s Trump versus Biden, who would you vote for?” asked Behar. (Trending: Pro Sport Announces Shock Decision On Transgender Athletes)

“I wouldn’t vote for either of them. I wouldn’t. No, don’t give me that!” replied Christie.

“That’s a copout,” argued Behar.

“No, it’s not a copout,” said Christie.

“It’s a copout,” she repeated.

“You want me to choose —” Christie started.

“You would give away your right to vote?” asked Hostin.

“No, I would vote for everyone down the ticket. But I’m not gonna vote for — look, I’m not gonna vote for someone who I don’t believe is capable anymore of the presidency, which is Joe Biden, and somebody —” Christie said, before being cut off.

Meanwhile, a recent poll showed Trump surging with 62% support, leading the GOP primary field. (Trending: Pro Sport Announces Shock Decision On Transgender Athletes)

Newsmax reported, “Not only has Trump reached an all-time high at 62% support in the latest national USA Today/Suffolk University Poll released Monday, he has expanded his lead on the GOP primary field to 49 points.”

“Notably, as the GOP field of challengers has shrunk, Trump’s lead has grown — an ominous sign for the anti-Trump forces in American politics and incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden, who also trails Trump in the poll,” continued the outlet.

Poll Results:
• Trump 62%
• Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley 13%
• Florida Gov Ron DeSantis 10%
• Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy 6%
• Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie 4%

Additionally, a spokesperson for Make America Great Again Inc. criticized three former Trump White House associates for spreading falsehoods about the former president.
