MSNBC’s Chris Hayes discussed the impact of media on people’s perception of the economy, suggesting that the positive perception of the economy during the Trump era was influenced by constant propaganda from the former president about economic management.
Hayes highlighted the role of media in shaping public views and emphasized the potential impact of media narratives on people’s understanding of economic conditions.
“Just take a second right now to consider what the alternate reality would be like in this moment, after this turbulence under a Donald Trump presidency,” Hayes said. (Trending: Kid Rock Rages Against ‘Woke’ Target)
“My strong belief is that part of the reason that people’s perception, the economy was good in the Trump era, that Trump would be good at managing the economy, is that he constantly unceasingly sledgehammered us over the head with propaganda about it day after day after day.”
The comments come as Trump has consistently dominated polling, including that over a number of swing states.
