Fox News host Jesse Watters expressed frustration over what he perceives as lack of consequences for actions against conservatives.
He demanded action from Republicans and criticized Democratic officials for avoiding punishment.
“And no one’s even talking about it! You wanna know why? Because everybody already knows that it’s bulls—! Everybody already knows all of this stuff! So, what is the endgame here? “We get screwed again. We have a hearing. Nothing happens.”
“So, we have an FBI dictatorship here. You either fire him and die or you can’t touch him and you still die. I’m sick of these hearings,” Watters said.
“Make me feel better, guys. Tell me this is going somewhere. Can I throw someone in prison? Can someone go to jail, Can someone get fined?”
“Just very quickly,” Democrat co-host Jessica Tarlov said. “You guys got the Durham investigation, which was supposed to blow the lid off–”
“Exactly!” Watters cut in.
“–and it ended up with nothing because there is nothing,” Tarlov said.
“Stop!” Watters said.
“You guys admitted you planted the [Steele] dossier!”
“What?!” Tarlov exclaimed.
“You admitted you framed him as a traitor and you want to investigate our investigation? We’re investigating the investigators!” Watters said.
“We don’t live in the same world. It’s just crazy,” Tarlov said.
“Exactly, your world’s fake,” Watters pressed.
“My world is winning,” Tarlov said.
“We’re following the facts!” Watters said.
“We are winning,” Tarlov pressed.
“You guys are corrupt. You robbed my vote!” Watters said.
Greg Gutfeld jumped in, sayig “This is the best,” and Tarlov said, “You voted in New York!”
“What are you talking about?! Go to break! Judge, tell ’em to go to break!” Watters concluded.
Meanwhile, Hunter Biden refused to comply with a Republican-issued deposition and offered to testify publicly instead.
“They belittled my recovery, and they have tried to dehumanize me, all to embarrass my father, who has devoted his entire life to public service,” Hunter Biden said. “For six years, I have been a target of the unrelenting Trump attack team. ‘Where’s Hunter?’ Well, here’s my answer. I am here.”
“My father was not financially involved in my business.”
“No evidence to support that my father was financially involved in my business because it did not happen,” Biden said.
Republicans claim evidence of Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s business dealings and are prepared to go to court to enforce the subpoena.
They reject Hunter’s offer to testify publicly as seeking special treatment.
“Hunter Biden has received special treatment his entire life,” House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said.
“Every government agency that should have caught the crimes the Bidens have been committed for years were told to stand down. And they think they can bully the Oversight Committee and set the rules. And that’s not going to happen.”
“We’re going to treat this investigation like every congressional investigation in recent memory has been treated: you come in for a deposition, then you do the public hearing. All of our depositions are transparent. We released the transcripts,” Comer added.
“He is the key witness to all of the Biden crimes. So the subpoena called for him to show up in this office on Dec. 13 for a deposition. I expect to see Hunter Biden in this office for a deposition.”
“I suspect that the House of Representatives will formally vote to formalize the impeachment inquiry. This is the exact same process that (former Speaker Nancy) Pelosi took during her impeachment,” Comer said.
“And they’re not going to be able to have a leg to stand on in court if they try to defy our subpoenas.”
“Mr. Biden’s attempt to avoid sitting for a deposition pursuant to the terms of the subpoenas – by offering instead to testify at a public hearing – amounts to a demand that he receive special treatment from the Committees,” Comer wrote.
