Actor and Republican Party official Siaka Massaquoi was arrested on non-violent misdemeanor charges related to his entry into the U.S. Capitol during the January 6, 2021 riot.
Massaquoi, who had been raided by the FBI two years prior with no charges filed, was arrested at a Los Angeles airport.

Elon Musk commented on Massaquoi’s arrest, stating “This has gone too far.”
The Washington Post warned about the potential abuse of federal powers if Donald Trump were to be elected for a second term.
