Pelosi Is Back: Biden Campaign Details New Role Attacking Trump

via PBS

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrat North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, both members of President Biden’s campaign board, criticized former President Trump’s pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

They labeled Trump’s call to replace Obamacare as an “assault” on the health and well-being of American families.

Pelosi and Cooper accused Trump of being “clueless” about the healthcare needs of everyday Americans and suggested that his actions would hurt millions of people. (Trending: Bombshell Email Uncovered Between Joe Biden And Hunter)

Pelosi began by calling the Trump’s remark a “dire threat to the health and well-being of America’s families.”

“This weekend, the former president reminded us that he is hellbent on destroying the Affordable Care Act. In doing so, he’s making an assault on the financial and health security of America’s families,” charged Pelosi.

“When he says he’s going after our health care, believe him,” the Democrat said about Trump’s healthcare plan.

Gov. Cooper said, “Donald Trump is great at reading the room full of conspiracy theorists but clueless in reading the room of everyday Americans who need health insurance.”

“Donald Trump is clearly speaking in autocratic tones, and he has a lot of followers who prefer an autocracy over a democracy as long as their guy’s in power,” continued the Democrat governor.

Donald Trump, who is considering alternatives to Obamacare, faces competition within the GOP for a potential rematch with Biden, including from high-profile Republicans like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley.

Trump posted about his healthcare agenda on Truth Social.

“The cost of Obamacare is out of control, plus, it’s not good Healthcare. I’m seriously looking at alternatives,” wrote Trump.

“We had a couple of Republican Senators who campaigned for 6 years against it, and then raised their hands not to terminate it,” he continued.

“It was a low point for the Republican Party, but we should never give up!”, encouraged the former president.
