President Biden apologized to Muslim-American leaders after questioning the accuracy of Gaza death toll figures.

He openly questioned the number of casualties reported by the Hamas government and later expressed disappointment in himself to the leaders.

“I have no notion that the Palestinians are telling the truth about how many people are killed,” Biden said. (Trending: Biden Shamefully Removes God From National Address)

“I’m sure innocents have been killed, and it’s a price of waging war.”

“I’m sorry. I’m disappointed in myself,” Biden later admitted.

“For weeks, I’ve been advocating to pause the fighting for two purposes: to increase the assistance getting into the Gaza civilians who need help and to facilitate release of hostages,” Biden told the group.

“We know that innocent children in Gaza are suffering greatly as well.”

Biden faced criticism for his response to the conflict, but he has pushed for a pause in the fighting to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and facilitate the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Hamas and Israel agreed to a four-day pause in the fighting for a hostage-for-prisoner deal.
