A human trafficking sting operation in Coweta County resulted in the arrest of 26 individuals, including Stephen Hovanic, a Pentagon official responsible for children’s education.

Hovanic was charged with pandering after allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover officer during the operation.

The sting also led to the arrest of others for various related crimes, and six women identified as human trafficking victims were offered assistance.

The investigation is ongoing, with the possibility of more arrests and charges.
