President Joe Biden referred to Chinese leader Xi Jinping as a “dictator,” pointing out that he runs a communist country with a government structure far different from the United States.
The honest assessment angered Chinese officials, who claimed it as wrong and irresponsible of Biden.
“Well, look, he is!” the president stated. (Trending: Jury Reaches Verdict In Paul Pelosi Hammer Case)

“I mean, he’s a dictator in the sense that he is a guy who runs a country that is a communist country based on a form of government totally different than ours.”
“Such a remark is extremely wrong and is irresponsible political manipulation,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning expressed.
“It needs to be pointed out that there have always been people with ill intentions who try to sow discord and undermine the China-U.S. relations.”
The remarks came after a four-hour talk between the two leaders, seen as an attempt to improve relations, but no geopolitical conflicts were actually resolved.
This isn’t the first time Biden has referred to Xi as a dictator, and previous comments have also prompted aggressive responses from Chinese officials.
