‘I’m All In’: Speaker Johnson Makes It Known Who He’s Supporting for President

via Fox News

House Speaker Mike Johnson endorsed former President Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, citing Trump’s successful policies and the need to make President Biden a one-term president.

Johnson emphasized his close alliance with Trump during his term and his belief in Trump’s ability to win the nomination.

The endorsement is seen as reinforcing the perception of Trump’s inevitability as the Republican nominee and reminding voters of the peace and prosperity during the Trump years. (Trending: Court Hands Down Crucial 2nd Amendment Ruling)

“Everybody’s watching this show right now,” CNBC host Joe Kernen said, prompting an endorsement from the Louisiana Republican.

“I have done it. Yeah. I have. I have endorsed him wholeheartedly,” responded Johnson.

Johnson highlighted that he “was one of the closest allies that President Trump had in Congress,”

Adding, “He had a phenomenal first term. Those first two years, as you all know, we brought about the greatest economic numbers in the history of the world, not just the country, because his policies worked.”

“I expect he’ll be our nominee.” predicted Johnson.

“And he’s gonna win it and we have to make Biden a one-term president. We have to do that,” insisted the Speaker of the House.
