“There’s a lot of frustration and a lot of broken promises,” Andres Parra said, emphasizing that “inflation, job pay, rent prices and health care” are the greatest issues.
“When Trump was president, we didn’t have high gas prices and food inflation,” Juan Manuel Ferreira Zamora stated, “and this is the truth.”
Biden’s advisors defend his economic record, blaming “MAGA extremism” for the financial struggles.
“That’s precisely why we need another four years to continue to finish the job, right? I think it’s important, too, that the president, of course, wants to get all of this done,” the Biden campaign’s Michael Tyler said.
“But we have to be honest about the brick wall of MAGA extremism that we continue to run into when we’re trying to get things done for the American people.”
However, political opponents criticize Biden’s economic track record, with Democrat Rep. Dean Phillips stating that “Bidenomics” represents no more than inflation and high prices.
“Bidenomics is not working. It is actually the opposite. It represents inflation, high prices,” he stated.
“I respect the president, I want to make it very clear, he’s a good man, he saved this country,” Phillips added.
“I think in 2020, he was probably the only Democrat who could have beaten Donald Trump. I think in 2024, he may be among the only ones that will lose to him. And that’s why I’m doing this.”
