A House Democrat has suggested that black Americans are turning away from President Biden and toward former President Trump due to a lack of understanding of civics, as indicated by recent polling.
The survey revealed Biden’s struggles in swing states and with black voters, prompting concerns about the administration’s impact on the cost of living and immigration issues.
The congresswoman implied that black voters may not be intelligent enough to make informed decisions and criticized their perception of the previous administration. (Trending: Is It Time For Joe Biden To Drop Out Of 2024?)

“Here’s the deal. Perception is reality,” she stated.
“And so when you look at the data that was provided in this poll, it talks about how people feel. And when people decide whether they’re going to the poll or whether they’re not going to the poll, it’s all about how you feel in that moment.”
“While the facts may not align with their feelings, their feelings are dictating their reality.”

I want those checks again,’ not understanding that that really came from Congress,” Crockett argued. (Trending: CNN Poll Is Bad News For Biden)
“So we’ve got a couple of things, the perception issue and then we also have an issue as it relates to civics in this country and people not understanding exactly how any of this works.”
