Actor Jon Voight Slams Daughter Angelina Jolie Over Her Israel Comments

via CBS Sunday Morning

Actor John Voight criticized his daughter Angelina Jolie for her comments on the Israel-Hamas war, saying she lacked understanding of the conflict.

Voight expressed support for Israel, arguing that they are the victims in the conflict and that Hamas is using Palestinian civilians as shields.

“This is justice for God’s children of the holy land,” Voight said. (Trending: Is It Time For Joe Biden To Drop Out Of 2024?)

“These children of Palestinian soil are being used by these animals to make all think that Israel is taking lives, when indeed this was Hamas’ plan to create the war of evil versus good,” he said.

He claimed that Palestinians have been given money but have used it to build weapons rather than providing for their people.

Voight also criticized celebrities who condemned Hamas attacks and called on President Biden to secure the release of hostages in Gaza.

Jolie posted a statement on Instagram saying the Hamas terrorist attack “cannot justify the innocent lives lost in bombing a civilian population in Gaza that has nowhere to go, no access to food or water, no possibility of evacuation, and not even the basic human right to cross a border to seek refuge”.

“The bombings are causing desperate new humanitarian needs daily,” she wrote.
