Yemen’s Houthi rebels claim to have launched a significant number of ballistic missiles and drones towards Israel, warning of more attacks to come.
Israel confirmed destroying an unidentified aerial target over the Red Sea and used its “Arrow” defense system to intercept a surface-to-surface missile.
The Houthi spokesperson stated that this was the third operation targeting Israel and threatened further strikes until Israeli aggression stops.

These incidents occur amidst rising regional tensions due to the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza and conflicts with Iran-backed groups.
“This is a concern for Israel because it is already engaged in conflict with the Iran-backed Hezbollah on its northern front,” Al Jazeera’s Sara Khairat stated.
