Elon Musk plans to host town hall events on his social media platform X, formerly Twitter, with former President Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
This comes after Trump was found guilty on criminal charges related to hush money payments made during the 2016 election.
Musk criticized the conviction as motivated by politics rather than justice, saying the precedent could put anyone at risk.
Indeed, great damage was done today to the public’s faith in the American legal system.
If a former President can be criminally convicted over such a trivial matter – motivated by politics, rather than justice – then anyone is at risk of a similar fate. https://t.co/zrHCyIZazh

“If a former President can be criminally convicted over such a trivial matter — motivated by politics, rather than justice — then anyone is at risk of a similar fate,” Musk wrote on X.
A NewsNation source said for the Trump town hall, users on X will submit questions that will be answered live.
Trump has blamed the guilty verdict on President Joe Biden and called it a politically motivated attempt to hurt an opponent.
“This was done by the Biden administration in order to hurt an opponent, a political opponent, and I think it’s just a disgrace,” Trump said.
