Radio personality Charlamagne tha God admits to having “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” a strong dislike for former President Donald Trump.

The Breakfast Club host discussed actor Robert De Niro’s concerns about Trump at a recent event.

De Niro believes Trump threatens overlooked American freedoms. This event marked the first time the Biden campaign held a separate event from Trump’s trial, drawing criticism online.

“Let the record show, I totally agree with Robert De Niro,” Charlamagne said on Fox News’s Gutfeld! “I am one of those people that suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

He continued, “I think he is a threat to democracy. I think that he led an attempted coup of this country, you know. He said he wanted to suspend the Constitution to overthrow the results of an election. At the least, that’s just not a patriotic thing to say.”

Charlamagne’s statement was in response to a post on Truth Social by Trump from December 2022.

In the post, the former president reiterated his belief that the 2020 election results were fraudulent and called for the abolishment of all regulations, “even those found in the Constitution.”

Trump refuted the accusation of advocating for the abolition of the Constitution, dismissing it as “more DISINFORMATION & LIES.”

The radio personality also expressed his view that voters “deserve better from both parties.”

This observation coincides with the possibility of the 2024 presidential election shaping up as a rematch between Trump and President Joe Biden.

In recent interviews, Charlamagne has voiced his disapproval of both Biden and Trump, stating on The View earlier this month that he believes “both candidates are trash”

He resisted the persuasion from the talk show hosts to endorse Biden, emphasizing his preference to address the issues affecting the nation as a whole rather than focusing solely on a particular candidate.

The radio personality subsequently expressed sorrow over the present condition of politics in the United States, remarking that “it’s almost like there’s either one of two extremes.”

During December 2023, Charlamagne humorously proposed that Biden present voters with “the ultimate Christmas gift” by opting not to run for reelection.

There is no doubt that Biden won the 2020 election BUT remember at the close of polls on election day, Trump was a huge winner with more votes than any candidate for president ever. THEN in the weeks that followed, the dems “found” so many votes that were “lost or miss-read” that they were able to push Biden to a win. He surely didn’t win due to his well-run campaign!
