In the interview, Greene informed Bartiromo that she would have been willing to abandon her campaign to remove Johnson if he had agreed to halt the funding for special counsel Jack Smith’s investigations into former President Donald Trump’s alleged criminal activities.

Defund Jack Smith

“I asked Mike Johnson this week, I said, ‘look, if you’ll defund Jack Smith, then I’ll reconsider this motion to vacate,'” Greene told the Fox Business host.
