Chris Christie: ‘Pretty Stupid’ Joe Biden Has Not Reached Out to Him

via NBC

Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie criticized President Biden for not reaching out to him after Christie said he would not endorse Donald Trump in 2024.

While Christie said he would not vote for Trump due to his unfitness for office, he is also unenthusiastic about Biden due to his age.

“One thing I know for sure now is I’m not voting for Trump under any circumstances,” Christie said. “If he’s the only person on the ballot, I’m not voting for Trump, because I know him too well, and he is wholly unfit to be president of the United States in every way you think.”

Christie called it “stupid” that Biden had not contacted him.

“It’s pretty stupid for him not to,” Christie said.

Although he has ruled out a third party run that could potentially hurt Biden more than Trump, Christie believes both Biden and Trump are past their prime as candidates.

“President Biden, in my view, is past the sell-by date,” Christie said. “Seriously, look at him.”

A recent poll showed Trump leading Biden by six points in key swing states, with Trump ahead in places like Pennsylvania and Wisconsin but Biden leading by two points in Michigan.

Christie’s comments reflect his dissatisfaction with the options presented by both major political parties.
