A report revealed that George Soros’s Open Society Foundations pledged $1 million in grants to Al Mezan Center for Human Rights, a Palestinian group in Gaza.

Al Mezan holds events with officials from Hamas and is led by people connected to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other groups.

However, Open Society stated it was “proud” to fund Al Mezan alongside other governments.

Al Mezan accuses Israel of genocide and calls for investigations into the country.

While Open Society says it does not support terrorism and complies with laws in funding Palestinian organizations, the checks to Al Mezan underscore how Soros-backed groups have long aided sympathizers and allies of terrorists attacking Israel, despite Soros being Jewish and a Holocaust survivor.

Open Society has also funded many anti-Israel groups involved in protests targeting Israel on campuses and in cities.
