Attorney Stefanie Lambert, who had pursued transparency around Dominion Voting Systems, was arrested in Washington D.C.
She had disclosed internal Dominion emails in a Michigan court case alleging they showed misconduct.
The emails, obtained from representing someone suing Dominion, revealed concerns about foreign nationals working for Dominion.

Lambert’s arrest prompted concerns about free speech and intimidating those seeking election integrity.
She maintained giving evidence to law enforcement and that the Constitution does not allow non-citizens to run elections.
“I gave the evidence to law enforcement,” Lambert said. “The discovery (file from Dominion) contained evidence of numerous crimes. The Constitution does not permit secret Serbians to run our elections. Local clerks are to run our elections, & transparency is prevented by vendors (Dominion).”
“My attorney has been informed that I have been indicted by [Muskegon County Prosecutor DJ Hilson], the special prosecutor in Michigan, working at the request of [Attorney General] Dana Nessel,” Lambert said.
“DJ Hilson misrepresented important statutory and constitutional law and failed to advise the court and grand jury of the applicable law, and misrepresented the law to the court and the jury in order to obtain this indictment,” she said.
Lambert was later indicted in Michigan for allegedly illegally accessing voting machines, which she denied doing anything illegal.
“It’s worse than that. Nobody, including myself, did anything illegal,” she said. “We did not violate any laws.”
Her case has drawn attention around efforts to expose alleged election fraud and hold accountable those in power over elections.
