Veteran character actor M. Emmet Walsh passed away at age 88.
With over 230 acting credits spanning 60 years in film and television, Walsh was known for memorable supporting roles in movies like Christmas With the Kranks, Blade Runner, Ordinary People, and The Jerk.
He played archenemy Walt Scheel to Tim Allen’s character in Christmas With the Kranks.
Walsh also had extensive television work, appearing in shows from the 1960s through the 2010s.
His prolific career and ability to play colorful supporting characters made him one of Hollywood’s most recognizable character actors.
