A survey found that Americans view President Biden as a largely weak leader, while former President Trump is seen as strong.
60% of respondents described Biden as at least somewhat weak, including 42% saying very weak.
In contrast, 57% saw Trump as at least somewhat strong and 34% as very strong.
Predictably, the overwhelming majority of Republicans (93%) viewed Trump as strong, while smaller percentages of Democrats (27%) and independents (57%) agreed.
The intelligence community is reportedly on edge about the prospect of Trump returning to the White House, with former officials anonymously criticizing him to avoid backlash, citing Trump critic Fiona Hill.
