Nikki Haley, a Republican presidential candidate, achieved a significant victory in the District of Columbia’s primary, surpassing former President Trump by a large margin.
Despite Trump and his supporters downplaying the defeat, many attribute Haley’s success in D.C. to its liberal nature.
“Of course she won DC…. Tells you everything you need to know!” conservative talkshow host Graham Allen wrote.

D.C. is the “dirtiest, most corrupt place in the country,” another user wrote.
“Shocker!” he added.
Criticism and skepticism from Trump supporters, including his campaign’s press secretary, suggest that Haley’s campaign may be struggling, with rumors of canceled advertising and public appearances circulating.
“While Nikki [Haley] has been soundly rejected throughout the rest of America, she was just crowned Queen of the Swamp by the lobbyists and DC insiders […] The swamp has claimed their queen,” press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote.
“There was some reporting over the weekend on Sunday that Nikki Haley may or may not have any ads past yesterday or today. And that she may or may not have any appearances past today, this Monday,” Fox News’ Bill Hemmer said. “Bret, you’ve been following that. Can you confirm any of that?”
“I haven’t talked to anybody on the campaign beyond, you know, some people tied to it tangentially. If that’s the case and holds to be true, that’s very telling,” Bret Baier said.
“Her only win so far is the D.C. primary, and you look at the map and look at the polls, and it’s tough to see a breakthrough any place on Super Tuesday despite the fact that 11 out of 15 states are open primaries where Democrats and Independents can vote,” Baier added. “But that’s a telltale sign. We saw that from Ron Desantis, too, after Iowa.”
Super Tuesday looms ahead, with doubts about Haley’s ability to make a breakthrough in the upcoming primaries.
