Nikki Haley expressed concern that nominating Donald Trump for president again would be “suicide” for the country due to his ongoing legal issues.

Haley said, “What I will tell you is that I have serious concerns about Donald Trump.”

She continued, “I have more serious concerns about Joe Biden.”

“This may be his survival mode to pay his legal fees and get out of some sort of legal peril, but this is like suicide for our country,” claimed Haley.

She added, “We’ve got to realize that if we don’t have someone who can win a general election, all we are doing is caving to the socialist left.”

However, recent surveys show that voters are not very concerned about Trump’s legal cases and would still support him over Biden in the presidential election even if Trump was convicted on various charges.

The surveys demonstrated that Trump maintained an advantage or tie with Biden in hypothetical matchups even when respondents were asked to choose between the candidates if Trump was convicted of crimes related to the Capitol riots, attempts to influence the 2020 Georgia election, or mishandling classified documents.

This indicates that voters care less about Trump’s legal troubles than Haley believes and do not see them as disqualifying him from being elected.

Haley insisted, “You have to see the writing on the wall, you have to see the hole in the ship.”

“And if you don’t see the hole in the ship, we’re all going to go down,” warned the former ambassador.

Trump recently wrote, “Leading Nikki Haley in Michigan GOP Primary, tomorrow, 67% to 15%, RCP AVERAGE.”

He added, “When will Nikki realize that she is just a bad candidate?”
