Rep. Nancy Pelosi questioned why Donald Trump refuses to criticize Russian President Vladimir Putin, suggesting that there may be financial or other undisclosed reasons behind Trump’s behavior.
Pelosi criticized Trump for not mentioning Putin in relation to the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny and accused Putin of being one of the most evil people in the world.
“What does he have on Donald Trump that he has to constantly be catering to Putin?” Pelosi asked.
Pelosi said Putin is one of “the most evil people in the world.”
“I don’t know what he has on him, but I think it’s probably financial,” she said. “Or something on the come ― something that he expects to get.”
