Former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley held a press conference to address the 2024 presidential race, saying she would not drop out as some were calling for.
Haley said she was far from dropping out despite not winning any contests and trailing Donald Trump by 60 points.
She criticized the “political elite, party bosses, and commentators” who wanted her to cave.
Today I’m in Greenville SC, where there are chairs for 50 supporters – who might be outnumbered by the number of journalists here – for @NikkiHaley’s “State of the Race” speech.
Spoiler alert: This is not going to be a drop out speech.

Haley said, “They say…that my path to victory is slim.”
“They point to the primary polls and say I’m only delaying the inevitable,” she continued.
“I refuse to quit,” added the former ambassador.
Haley said, “South Carolina will vote on Saturday. But on Sunday, I’ll still be running for President. I’m not going anywhere.”
Haley vowed to continue her campaign after the South Carolina primary and said Trump was meaner, more offensive and bullying her.
“He’s gotten more unstable and unhinged,” warned Haley.
“He spends more time in courtrooms than he does on the campaign trail. He refuses to debate. He’s completely distracted, and everything is about him. He’s so obsessed with his own demons from the past. He can’t focus on delivering a future Americans deserve.”
Haley also highlighted concerns about Trump spending on legal costs and Russia comments.
She positioned herself as an alternative to both Trump and President Biden.
