Mac McClung, a player with limited NBA experience, impressed at the NBA Slam Dunk Contest during All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.

Despite his short career in the league, McClung showcased his dunking skills, ultimately winning the contest by defeating notable players like Jaylen Brown and Jacob Toppin.

In a standout moment, he dunked over Shaquille O’Neal, earning a perfect score and securing victory.

“Shaq was so cool to put that high school jersey on, man, it almost made me emotional that he would do that,” McClung said. “When he put it on, he said, ‘You better not miss it.’ I said, ‘OK, I won’t miss it.’”

McClung’s achievement makes him the sixth player to win multiple dunk contests and the first to do so in consecutive years since Zach LaVine.
