A small plane landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York after the pilot reported losing the left rear passenger door during flight.
The incident involved a single-engine Diamond DA40 aircraft carrying two people, and there were no reported injuries.
The FAA is investigating the matter, and the door has not been found.
In a separate incident, an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 Max 9 experienced a door plug panel blowout and depressurization, resulting in no serious injuries after an emergency landing.
