U.S. Customs and Border Protection has reported over 1 million migrant encounters since the start of FY 2024, marking an earlier milestone than in previous years.
The number of Chinese migrants crossing the border is also increasing, with nearly 20,000 encounters since October.
A bipartisan immigration bill failed in Congress, and there was an unsuccessful attempt to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
This FY24, USBP apprehended +160 undocumented subjects with gang affiliations.
These gangs (Paisas, MS-13, etc.) are involved w/murder, extortion, narcotics, weapons/human trafficking & prostitution.

Sen. Cruz said, “That works out to 1.8 million a year. That works out to about 6 million illegal immigrants over the three years of Biden… So the idiotic Republican proposal was let’s be for two thirds of the border invasion that Biden has allowed.”
Border crossings have been setting records, with December 2023 seeing the highest total of 302,000 migrant encounters in a single month.
