A recent Morning Consult poll revealed that former President Donald Trump holds a significant lead over Nikki Haley in South Carolina, with 68 percent of registered voters supporting Trump compared to 31 percent for Haley in the upcoming Republican primary.
“There are dozens of states left to go, and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina,” Haley said.
The survey also indicates Trump’s strong support in various states leading up to Super Tuesday.

Despite Haley’s intention to continue her campaign, the survey results suggest a challenging path for her, especially in open primary states where she aims to attract non-conservative voters.
“After Super Tuesday, we will have a very good picture of where this race stands,” one memo read.
