Tucker Carlson’s recent visit to Moscow has sparked speculation that he may have interviewed or will soon interview Russian President Vladimir Putin, although he has been evasive about his intentions.
Carlson said, “It [Moscow] is beautiful. I just wanted to see it because, you know, I have read so much about it but I have never seen it before.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, “Many foreign journalists come to Russia every day, many continue to work here, and we welcome this.”

“We have nothing to announce in terms of the president’s interviews to foreign media,” he continued.
Carlson’s presence in Russia has attracted significant attention and accusations of being a “traitor” or guilty of “treason.”
Before being fired from Fox News, Carlson criticized U.S. government policies regarding Ukraine’s conflict with Russia, accusing NATO of provoking Putin.

Carlson previously said, “So at this point, NATO exists primarily to torment Vladimir Putin who, whatever his many faults, has no intention of invading Western Europe,”
“Vladimir Putin does not want Belgium. He just wants to keep his western borders secure,” added the political analyst.
The left has labeled him a “Putin puppet” and a Kremlin propagandist.
