The hosts of “The View” engaged in a heated debate over former Governor Chris Christie’s comments about President Joe Biden’s age, with Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin defending Biden’s performance and criticizing Republican criticism.
Goldberg highlighted Biden’s past successes, while Hostin admonished Republicans for their comments and asserted that Biden would be the Democratic nominee in 2024.
“Oh, my goodness gracious … What are you talking about? He kicked butt a couple of days ago. He did better than you-know-who did,” Goldberg said.
The View is outraged that Chris Christie told Democrats the get a new candidate because Biden is "past his sell-by date."

Co-host Sara Haines suggested that Democrats should consider criticisms of Biden, but Hostin disagreed, citing a national poll showing Biden leading Trump and predicting a repeat of the 2020 election, despite differing swing state polls and low job approval ratings for Biden.
“You know, I do not like when Republicans tell Democrats what they need to do in their house,” Hostin said.
“There isn’t going to be another candidate! The candidate is Joe Biden!” she said.
“Suck it up!” Goldberg said.
