A recent CNN poll revealed that 66% of independents disapprove of President Joe Biden’s job performance, with 70% stating that he does not deserve reelection.
Former President Donald Trump leads Biden nationally by four points, according to the poll.
The survey also indicates that Republicans are confident in Trump’s chances of winning a second term, with 88% of Republican-aligned voters seeing him as a realistic contender for the presidency.
The poll sampled 1,212 adults and has a 3.8-point margin of error.
