Donald Trump, in a pre-caucus rally, expressed that being indicted by the “radical-left Democrats, Marxist communists, and fascists” is a “great badge of honor.”

He accused Democrats of rigging the 2020 election and expressed concern about potential rigging in 2024.

Trump made these comments following a $83.3 million verdict awarded to E. Jean Carroll, who accused him of rape.

“They hope that’s going to be the new form of cheating, weaponizing,” Trump said. “They want to weaponize the FBI, the DOJ [Department of Justice]. … The radical-left Democrats rigged the presidential election in 2020. We’re not going to allow them to rig the presidential election of 2024.”

He assured his supporters that he would not let them take away their freedom and claimed that the attacks against him are ultimately aimed at silencing his supporters.

“I got indicted four times,” Trump said. “Al Capone, the meanest of all, Scarface … he was indicted less than me.”

“They want to silence me because I will never let them silence you,” he said. “That’s what they want to do. That’s the game they play. And in the end, they’re not after me. They’re after you. I just happened to be standing in the way.”
