Donald Trump is set to win the Nevada caucuses as Nikki Haley, his sole remaining opponent for the Republican presidential nomination, is not participating.
Trump celebrated the forthcoming Nevada delegates on Truth Social after his victory in the New Hampshire primary.
Despite not competing in the caucuses, Haley emphasized the ongoing nature of the race and focused on the upcoming South Carolina primary.
“This race is far from over. There are dozens of states left to go, and the next one is my sweet state of South Carolina,” Haley said.
The Nevada Republican caucuses will occur on February 8, and as the only active candidate competing for delegates, Trump is expected to secure all 26 delegates.
“SHE JUST LOST NEVADA, WHICH IS UP NEXT!” Trump wrote.
Trump criticized Haley’s losing speech and accused her of “b——-” on national television, stating that she had already lost Nevada.
“I find in life you can’t let people get away with b——-. You can’t, you just can’t do that,” Trump said.
“And when I watched her — the fancy dress that probably wasn’t so fancy — … I said, ‘what’s she doing? We won,’ and she did the same thing last week.”
