An Oklahoma pastor and his wife, Keith and Candy Holt, have been arrested for allegedly abusing at least eight children.

The children were reportedly beaten with a board and locked in a bathroom without water for days.

Concerns were raised by the Department of Human Services and others, leading to a police visit.

The Holts refused entry initially, but upon investigation, evidence of abuse was found.

The couple is accused of severe physical punishment and neglect, resulting in the children being taken into protective custody.

Keith Holt identified himself as a pastor, but the church denied his claim and emphasized their stance against child abuse.

“The article that is online about the House of Prayer, senior pastor is not the truth. John and Nellie Jack are the senior pastors,” the church stated. “We do not condone child abuse in any form. Please pray for our church.”

Keith was arrested for child abuse, kidnapping, and neglect, while Candy was arrested for enabling child abuse, kidnapping, and neglect.
