Kevin Costner celebrated his 69th birthday with a throwback photo, expressing gratitude for the support that helped him pursue his dreams.
Costner added the caption, “Celebrating another year of life today and taking a moment to honor this kid who had big dreams.”
“It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come,” he continued.
“Thank you all for the birthday wishes,” wrote Costner to his followers.
“It’s because of your support that I’ve been able to chase my dreams all these years,” he added.
“Don’t believe what they say about getting older,” wrote the actor, last year on his 68th birthday.
“Each passing year is a gift, and it gets better and better with time,” he continued.
Despite a challenging year, including a custody battle with his estranged wife, he remains focused on his upcoming project, “Horizon: An American Saga,” a Western film series set to release in 2024.
“You know, when you have a life that long with somebody, there is no winner … and it’s this big, crazy thing called life and how it unravels so quickly,” lamented Costner.
“One minute you feel like you’re on top of the world, and then you realize how, you know, how vulnerable you are,” he explained.
Costner emphasized the value of each passing year and the importance of looking towards the future.
