Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is facing controversy over payments to Nathan Wade, whom she appointed as special prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump.
The allegations include compensating Wade at a higher hourly rate than the state’s foremost expert on the case type, as well as engaging in a romantic relationship with him prior to his appointment.
Furthermore, concerns have been raised about Wade’s prior experience and the legitimacy of the charges against him.
