The New York Court of Appeals dismissed Donald Trump’s appeal against a gag order in his civil fraud trial, citing no substantial constitutional question.

Trump has been under a gag order since October, prohibiting him from publicly discussing the court’s staff.

The order came after Trump targeted the judge and her chief law clerk through Truth Social posts.

The judge wrote, “On the Court’s own motion, appeal dismissed, without costs, upon the ground that no substantial constitutional question is directly involved.”

“Motion for a stay dismissed as academic,” they continued.

The appellate court upheld the gag order last month, and Trump has been fined twice for violating it.
