President Joe Biden and the Democratic Party raised over $97 million in the last quarter, ending the year with $117 million in cash.

This marks the highest cash-on-hand figure for any Democratic candidate at this point in the election cycle.

The fundraising comes as Biden prepares to face a Republican opponent in November, with former President Donald Trump being a likely contender.

Despite signs of strain within parts of Biden’s coalition, the campaign has seen strong grassroots enthusiasm and high-dollar donations.

“This historic haul — proudly powered by strong and growing grassroots enthusiasm — sends a clear message: The Team Biden-Harris coalition knows the stakes of this election and is ready to win this November,” Biden campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez stated.

The average grassroots donation was $41.88, with 97% of all donations being under $200.

The campaign also grew its active subscriber email list by 15% and saw increased interest from small-dollar donors.

Biden’s team is working closely with the DNC and state parties to build a winning campaign.

“The Biden-Harris campaign and the DNC are working as one team with a single mission: to build a winning campaign that has the resources to send Joe Biden and Kamala Harris back to the White House, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot,” DNC Chair Jaime Harrison said.
