President Biden declared former President Trump as the “clear front runner” in the GOP presidential race after Trump’s dominant victory in Iowa.

Biden quickly launched a fundraising push and criticized “extreme MAGA Republicans” in a post.

Trump expressed feeling “invigorated” and “greatly honored” after winning the 2024 Iowa caucuses, emphasizing the need to “get our country back.” (Trending: 2024 Miss America Winner Crowned)

“Looks like Donald Trump just won Iowa. He’s the clear front runner on the other side at this point,” wrote Biden.

“But here’s the thing: this election was always going to be you and me vs. extreme MAGA Republicans. It was true yesterday and it’ll be true tomorrow,” he continued.

Trump has taken the majority of the vote in Iowa, with Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley following behind.

Trump said, “It really is an honor that, minutes after, they’ve announced I’ve won — against very credible competition — great competition, actually.”

“It is a tremendous thing and a tremendous feeling,” shared the former president.

“We have to get our country back. Our country has gone through so many bad things over the last three years and it is continuing to go through bad things,” said Trump later in the evening.
